water injection will work, but I guess its 2 schools of thought. Neither are wrong, just my opinion, which is with good tuning just on 93 at a lower boost level will get you power with a more responcive engine and its also less stress on the turbo and you save youself the money of buying water injection. With the Cobb ap I would rather do 93 for low boost and 100 or 110 for high boost. Again, my opinion.

What year is your Evo 8? If it is an '03, then it has the 9.8 cm turbine housing. If you want to run higher boost levels safely then get the 10.5 housing, which came fitted on the '04 and up USDM Evos.

Adding a set of spinners will do wonders for your car! Why, you'd be surprised at how much boost you can run w/ spinners, not to mention the forward momentum they generate!

i think it has alot to do with fuel as well...you can run higher boost with higher octane of course...however, it needs to be tune anyway.
