I had the 3076 atp kit and was mad laggish. i dont know how much of the problem was from the kit or the size of the turbo but i didnt like it. are you stock internals? if so i would go evo green with cams and high octane fo shizzle. this will get you nice numbers and still give you throttle control. once you step up to the larger turbos you may become dissapointed with the lack of response but to each his own. High octane is key no matter what as you know. In my build i did everything i could to get max response, hence the 2.3 stroker and green turbo.

I have got the ATP GT 3071R kit on my evo VIII and love it. For the money I don't think you can beat it. I put down 401whp on 21.5psi, 93 octane, ecu reflash, and a conservative road race tune. It reaches full boost in the low 4,000rpms and I have the stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold, and more stock parts. You just have to have the right parts, but that is the case for any turbo up-grade!

The time on my sig was made with a stock block, head, cams, ECU flash pump + meth on a ATP 35r (lots of supporting mods) shifting to 5th at the end cause it will not get past 120mph on 4th (9's 4th )

Don't get me wrong there are lots of better kits on the market like my new BR HTA 35R but it makes power!

Don't waste your money. My old roomate had their 35r kit and he stands no chance up against me on stock turbo. Just get a meth kit with supporting mods and enjoy the fast spool you have right now. You will easily make 400awhp+ on your stock turbo fully spooling at 3k rather then maybe 450awhp and spooling at 5k. Also you will lose so much torque.
