I babied it the whole way home, slow off the line and never took it over 4krpms. It made irregular noise as soon as I started it up at ur shop, and made a sound the whole way home, and i have 3 witnesses to the sound, and my so called "launching"... Your brother told me personally that he "romped" the car on the test drive... So if slow take off/granny shifting is what you mean by launching... and as for brandon, they have nothing to do with the plug, you and crown were the last 2 to work on the car. and if there was no fluid in it the whole time, then wouldnt your brother "romping" the car for 30 mins have messed up the tranny??? And you know dave never said that BS. Lies is all you ever give. You told me twice while you had my car that it was done, and upon my arrival at the shop you didnt even have the car, and had never touched it.... and if barandon was responsible for the tcase, why did your bro tell me and my friends he messed up, and he apologized for using the wrong fluid and half of it??? Lies lies and more lies.... anyone can ask turbotalon90, because hes the one who was with me the entire time you claim i was launching and such.

 

thats the who told me and second I stated that after the conclusion that the fluid did the damage we warranty the tcase. I asked if your car soaked on the bottom from oil leakage and no one answered me so I called brandon and they said no they assumed it came from there but if you would of lost 4 quarts of fluid your car would of been soak on the bottom and come on lose 4qts of fluid from a bolt that is lose you would be leaving a puddle where ever you stop and that was not the case so it seems to me that brandon never filled your tranny up after they finish checking it. Again this is just a case of someone trying to take advantage of our warranty thats it thats why dealers and other shop dont do warrantyand its not because of the type of car but because of people trying to take advantage of it. I have always stood behind my work and got plenty of people who would back that up cause I dont care if we got to put a new tranny or tcase or engine in someones car that failed to due to our error we do it. Come since your car left we had 5 more evo leave here that we did tranny work and clutch work on and still running strong no issues or complaints wonder why is that maybe cause they know how to drive their car.

 

I'm confused - how or why did the car end up going to a Mits dealer while at Brotherz? And who was responsible for sending it there?

 

my drain plug fell out of my trany,and all the fluid leaked out and i was driving like this for three day until i seen it,the only reason i looked because it was hard to get into gear,but the trany was fine.....

 

Brothers had the car because they put the wrong fluid in my t-case which voided my warranty, I have the receipt to prove this. The car went to brandon first, when the t-case had started to go, brandon said it was faulty labor. Right after this you agreed to fix it, but you sent it to crown first. so if they pulled this "Plug" there would have been no fluid in my tranny for the first month and a half while it was at your shop, and the 30 mins your bro "romped" my car??? sounds to me that this is no part a "driver" error, just faulty shop labor.... i took the car to you, you sent it to crown(your choice not mine) thats your responsibility. One day you told me you had just received the t-case, and that night it was ready? Were you guys rushed? Forgot somethin? I pick the car up from you, and immediately i notice a wierd noise. i had driven the car less than an hour total time after getting it back from you and my whole tranny locks up?????? come on now. THEN i took it to brandon. You or crown misplaced the plug. Brandon found that it was missing upon inspection after youy guys had it. Either way this is your responsibility, whether you or crown messed it up, you had the sole responsibility of repairing the car, i took it to you NOT crown...

 

I don't want to take sides or really get involved but, Legally this would never stand in court. Brotherz Racing is at fault. The car was taken to Brotherz Racing to be serviced, it was in their hands to be repaired, whether Crown or Brotherz were at fault it is still Brotherz Racing's responsibilty to fix the car! Period.

 

the owner of the car took the car to brandon mitsubishi then was brought to us for I then took it to other dealer for a second opionion they confirmed that the tcase was hurt they said it could of been because of the clutch or the fluid I figured they would say the clutch first since they dont like to warranty anything with aftermarket parts so to avoid any problems we decided to warranty the tcase for him and replace it then the car was running we drove it for 30mins no problems he takes the car home then calls back the next day saying something about the tranny so I tell him to bring it back and we will check it well the car came back with a broken shift fork I tell him we had nothing to do with the tranny all we did is replace the tcase and fill the tcase then was told by one of his close friends that he was getting on the car and launching it I was like yup that would do it. Then he said that he took it to brandon mitsu to find out what happen I said that is fine then he calls back saying that brandon said that the drain plug was left lose and that all the fluid came out and thats is what happen. I told him we never touch the drain plug the last people who touched your drain plug was brandon mitsu when he took it to get checked for the tcase then I said hold on wouldnt the whole bottom of your car be soak in oil if this was the case and would of smoke every where cause 4qts is alot of oil to leak out? Like I said I think he is just trying to get another part for free since we replaced the tcase for free guess he would of thought we would continue to replace parts on his car that he keeps breaking that would be everyones dream come true. Like I said before I stand behind my work but when someone is trying to take advantage of a situation thats another story.

This is one of those times it sucks to be a shop. Cause you realize that if this goes to court you will need to pay for his tranny replacement. The work was done at your shop. You guys goofed on the TC.

Now hes having tranny problems for whatever reason and when he brought it to Mitsu they said XXX was the culprit. The car was in your possesion originally (be it at your shop or when you guys brought it to mitsu to have the work done). You'll need to take this up with mitsu not him unfortunetely

Unfortunetely everything points to a wrong on your end. You'll never be able to convince a court that he beat on the car or that hes trying to get parts replaced free. His car hasnt been right since the work was done at your shop.

You'll need to get a copy of the work order from mitsu when he took the car there to see if he is BS about the drain plug or not. If hes not you guys will end up buying this kid a Tranny or paing for Shep or TRE to rebuild it

Sucks guys crappy situation for all parties involved but this kind of thing happens all to often in the automotive world.

Rob this is Dave, im confused at this point ive known you and your brother for about a year and half and yet your going to throw words into my mouth? your brother called me i did not speak with you... Your brother ask me straight up as friends if mike would have beat the car or try to break it so you guys would have bad rep or does someone not like him and would do this to the car... i told dave the car is in a fence that nobody can get to.. then i told dave come on think about the way mike drives he drove the car like a little old lady.. i told him not to beat on the car on the way home when we picked it up after hearing a clunking noice and not really thinking anything of it since your brother told me mike and cody that he romped on it just to make sure nothing would break... and then which didnt make any sense to me is that we called you once the problem began to get worse.. and this was less than an hour later... then we tried to call you because we were going to bring the car up there that night you wouldnt answer your phone... then the next morning mike goes not 2 mins away from his house and the car locks up on him...

i dont understand why you guys are denying the fact that the car broke and it was your fault... either way you guys are at fault even if crown mitsu had the car and it was there fault... it was yall's decision to bring the car there because you guys said you wanted to bring the car to your dealer. mike didnt say hey man you should bring the car here.

For a new shop I think it is pretty damn sh*tty to not take care of their customers when they f^cked up (whether it was them or crown that messed up, it was their responsibility to fix the car, and in their possession.) If i was them I would fix the car asap, before this goes to court and they are forced to pay the cost of a new trans and the labor at mitsu to fix everything (which would be a LOT more $$$ then if they fixed it...) not to mention their reputation getting ruined over the whole thing! Trust me, I've seen this happen before!! One of my friends opened a shop in Chicago, he did a lot of shady things (street racing the customer's cars, not really building the engines, ect.) and word got around... everyone in Chicago boy cotted their shop! He ended up going bankrupt and having to sell the shop!

Brotherz, all I can really say is that it's a sh*tty situation, Crown may or may not be the one who messed it up but it's your responsibility either way... you guys should really do what's right and fix the car before this gets blown up on the forums and goes to court. Sh*t, Mike wouldn't even need a lawyer for this case, all fingers point at you guys! And GSRboi80 is right, You'll never be able to convince a court that he beat on the car or that hes trying to get parts replaced free. His car hasn't been right since the work was done at your shop! Dave I never said to mike that you told me dont know where he is getting his info from when I spoke to you all I asked you was if you knew the guy with the cordia never asked you anything about mikes car it was not you who told me.

 

This is really getting old already you know what Mike find a shop to drop your tranny and bring it to us we will rebuild and get it back to you and have another shop install it and thats it if your tranny or tcase or any part of your car breaks we dont want nothing to do with it you got my number call me when you get this I am over it this is dumb and a waste of time and energy.
