question guys, i went to the parts department and they gave me for the tranny... a part number MZ313501 ..... it came out of a 5 gallon drum and it said on it diaqueen multi gear oil... and under description it says M/T Lube and was listed at 12.98$ a quart.... does that sound right? Or was the guy high.. he gave me everything else correctly... so.. .... any thoughts?

They are suppose to give MZ313376 but could it be that the guy just didn't have it in his system and made up some random part number for it... cause there's no record of a 313501 anywhere in mits parts log...

 

Diaqueen multi is the correct oil for your 5 speed. Us MR owners have to be careful because we use the "Super Diaqueen" in the 6 spd.

 

ight thanks. thats what i thought, but this guy tried to give me auto tranny fluid the first time so i wasn't sure if he had all his marbles

 

I just got the 5 spd fluid today and I have the mr, hope they take it back. What would happen if I didn put the 5 spd fluid in, just curious.
