anyone here have any experience with HBX intercoolers? or know of anyone that does?

 

Neverheard of it....which means prolly stay away from it

It's so much easier to go with a company that uses good cores (AMS, Nisei, ETS, Buschur) than to find a diamond in the rough Ebay-style.

If money is an issue, your most reasonable bet would be to go with the ETS 3" IMHO.

 

LOL "HBX?" Sounds like a knock off of a knock off (OBX) hahahaha..

I would stay FAR away from a brand like that ... that NO ONE has heard of..

Just my opinion.. go with ETS ( : They are the BEST company!!! They have superior quality and great prices

 

where can you even get these hbx? any logs or dynos?

 

i was at the tattoo shop thumbing through their magazines. i picked up a mustang magazine and on the inside of the front cover was an ad for them. then i noticed the modelled intercooler and i thought..."that looks like an evo intercooler" and in the footnote it said "above model is for mitsubishi lancer evolution"

anyways it doesnt look bad but i think its just too new for anyone to really know about them.

For that price go with a proven company

 

Yeah ^^^^... for 900bucks.. go with something better....

 

if price is a concern. I ran the ebay intercooler on my car and it drop 20 celusis on my egt guage.

 

I got the ETS 3" with the UICP and LICP and could not believe how great the car felt.Plus the price was right!

 

how would someone know whats better if no one knows anything about this unit?
