Dave.. at what rpm does this car make 2 bar on the street in 4th gear?

I could have swore you said about 5200 rpm but maybe that was for your car before the HTA?

I know DB uses VP import and does not use Meth.

The disparity in the Mustang and Dynojet is confusing and the answer must be that it was somehow rich and not completely retuned to achieve maximum HP, otherwise the difference is only 5.5% between the Mustang and the Dynojet.

Just tryin to clear things up DB, please correct me if I am wrong. Great #'s and I am a huge supporter of the Buschur race ethic!!
he is using C16 not import.

DB does not use Meth/alky.

From Page 1, TedB. The turbo doesn't use different housings than a Garrett GT3582 turbo. The turbine wheel is identical, the change is the compressor wheel. The compressor wheel, as has been said many times before, is slightly SMALLER than the Garrett compressor wheel. It has also been said many times before that the PEAK power with the Garrett GT3582 is the same as the HTA35r. Also, the topic of my thread says "HTA35R-700WHP/646 FT LBS" Nothing misleading about that.

I am running C16 fuel, but to be honest. Last time we took my car to the track at the end of the day we did not have enough gas in the tank to make it back home. So I put in a few gallons of VP Import which is all we had left. I did NOT retune the car for the Import as I have no intention of running it every again, too expensive. We use VP Import in our black drag car ONLY.

NO methanol injection, never have had alky on my car.

The difference in AFR is quite simple. It is the fact that the Dynojet doesn't load the car properly. The MD applies load and that load increases as speed increases, just like the road.

Gusl, I have no desire to let anyone catch up As a matter of fact, I have something else up my sleeve right now, I just have to get the time to work on the car and finish my newest project! I really like this HTA35r, atleast for a large larger laggy turbo. I don't want to go bigger, there would have to be some substantial increase in power with minimal lag to make me change.

So presumably, if this was a stroker... the car would make more torque than hp?

This result is so different than any other 2 litre + 35R its almost unbelieveable. But then you look at DB's track times and you think, hmmmm.

Try buying a barrel then shipping overseas than paying import duty on it!

Worked out to being $37 a gallon!

Anyone try VP's new fuel Q16? Higher oxygen content rep said you will see a 4%-5% increase in power of standard C16.
