TBE with test pipe only mod with no tune?

car progressively run's more and more rich everyday (stock exhaust IS going back on, I just need to get a few new nuts and bolts) I put the exhuast on for shoots and giggles for a day but in the process damaged some hardware

well today I did a 3rd gear pull onto the highway just to see whats up with the car, figured I havn't really done a WOT run for a long time and seeing as the tracks are closed, It would be a long time since I could do a pull... so up to a LEGAL speed limit (I really am a granny driver) I did a 3rd gear pull and at 4500 rpm... FUEL CUT!!!!!! Whats the car doing??? boosting higher with just an exhaust??? or is it running TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO rich?? I couldn't imagine it running toooo lean seeing as they are so rich from the factory ..RIGHT???

I know I need a flash and tune but why put all my other mods on before winter?? The closest track open to me is hourssss away so I won't be running it at all...

true. the cars run rich from factory and youre fuel cut issue is due to the car running rich. i definately suggest a reflash and tune. that should take care of your problem. i would also invest in a wideband. a necessity if planning on making big power with proper tuning.

alright cool thanks! My porsche would get fuel cut A LOT and thats when I had a fuel leak in the Adj fuel pressure regulators diaphram and boosting 30 psi... point being, can you get fuel cut from running too lean? or no...

I'd imagine LEAN is not my issue right now, I'd much rather be running rich

You said you were dropping to 13, sounds like you have a boost leak my friend.
