Car problems... bucks and flutters?

I finished my holset turbo install and had a friend (with tuning knowledge) rough tune my car till next week till i get it tuned. if i do a 3rd gear pull when in the car as soon as about 8psi the car frantically shakes and bucks REALLY hard like constantly till i let off and at the same time as it is shaking i can hear someting venting (BOV OR TIAL WASTEGATE) cant tell maybe both. I was thinking it might be my bov shuttering but it feels way too harsh for that? Maybe broken wastegate?

Any questions or help is much appreciated.

If I were you, I wouldnt be boost all crazy without a tune.

Few things come to mind:

Boost leaks
WG or BOV is opening, check vacuum lines & itself for stress cracks
Compressor surge?

Good luck.

But If i dont find out the problem before i go to the tuner i dont believe i will get a good tune if a i cant accelerate at all? thats why ive been undercontrol when boosting and not givin it hell. trust me i have been staying out of boost especially since i cant find out whats wrong.

checked all vacuum lines everything looked ok will do a pressure test tom.

sounds like a possible boost cut...but 8 psi would be way low on the load scale.

Also very possible it is very lean. Chances are its the BOV your hearing.
