Fidanza 3.2 Clutch / Flywheel
Basically I'm asking anyone with experience driving or owning a Fidanza 3.2 clutch, please let me know what you think of it. I read one legitimate review on this item and I'm almost convinced. I do not have money for an Exedy twin and I couldn't deal with it everyday in traffic either. My options are the Fidanza or the ACT HDSS. I want a clutch that works well in all conditions. I know puck style clutches tend to be more "grabby" mostly because of the cerametalic material used in them. The Fidanza is Kevlar so it probably helps. I don't care about pedal pressure, it could be heavy, I just don't want something that you have to rev to 3 grand to take off slowly without lunging forward.

I would look at the SPEC clutch also. There are several guys running these here in Miami and they seem to work really well.
Another option is Extrememotorsports.com. They have there HD clutch. They use it on there track car. Good price.

If you're between the Fidanza and ACT, Buschur recommends the Fidanza FWIW.
If you wan't stock feel, but ability to hold more torque, another good option would be WORKS Clutch Kit 1 or 2. Just a more expensive, but from what I've read and have talked to the WORKS guys they are buttery smooth and perfect for daily driving with a lot of hp/tq.

That's not a bad suggestion, but you're right about the expensive price tag. Have you heard anything about he Exedy single disk? I heard the stage 1 is pretty good.
Thanks for your help, even though you're a Browns Fan!

I just got the 5.4 for 6 bolt DSM Today from BR. I killed my ACT 2900 w street disk in one season. Its is a drag only car that makes about 500 whp. I have a cromoly ACT flywheel in there that Im gonna machine. I m not gonna be installing it til probably Feb or March cause i have to finish saving money for my Shep stage 4 rebuild at 2400. Ill write a reveiw for if needed but it will be awhile.

it holds 44% more torgue so how is it not much of an upgrade from stock? Thats almost double the holding power of the stock clutch. Thats the organic stage1, they also have a stage2 single disc that holds even more torque.

Thanks for those specs. The stage one then isn't really suitable for me. The stage 2 sounds great, but I hear it's beeatch to drive. I know it's hard and most people want the best of both worlds, (driveability and performance) but the majority of my Evo's time is spent on the highway or in traffic. Plain and simple. That weighs very heavily into my decision.
Thanks Chris, yeah you have the best quote so far on both the ACT and Fidanza, so I'm definately buying from you. Just have to make up my mind.
