wow 2 cars is surprising. we've had great luck with the carbonetic triples on the skylines, silvias and supras but havent done any evos with them.

out of curiosity how does your friend like his twinscroll 40R kit?

 

Since we are all sort of competitive with each other I don't always hear the full story They had some issues initially (not turbo kit related), but I think got them worked out.

The problem I think is I'm not too fond of the tuners practices who tunes his car and the car runs Haltech and they don't use det cans when tuning and the Halltech has no electronic knock logging / control. So.... long story short I don't know how the 40R is running but i I am very curious.
