You can get an EGR blockoff plate to cover the holes and be able to remove the EGR valve and solenoid. I have one available if you want to make me an offer, its a Buschur part btw. I am not sure what you would do with the vacuum lines. I just had the plate mounted between the manifold and the EGR valve and never got a light by leaving the valve on the car.

Get an AMS VSR intake, that'll get rid of your EGR.

Helps with emissions...Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve... Bleeds exhaust gasses back thru the intake to slightly dilute the charge..

Its pretty easy, call buschur they have an EGR block of plate.
You will need two shorter bolts as well.

You pull the main solenoid, all the lines, and the control solenoid as well. You will have to use either caps or a short piece of vac line to cover up the two nipples that will be sticking of the throttle body now.

The green is the EVAP canister solenoid. While your under there I figured you might want to take that off as well.

You can even take off the large black intake manifold bracket if you so desire. That will save another 1-2 lbs.
