What would cause this??
Ok let me start with a list of mods. Buschur 3" turbo back exhaust, hks 264 cams, walbro 255, manual boost controller, and a custom reflash. So I put some C16 in the car the other day and turned the boost up to about 28 psi. The car ran great pulled like a mother. Then last night it was much colder out and the boost was way over where it was the night before, so I started turning it down. I got it to about 26 psi and it will act like it is hitting fuel cut. Once you go over like 21-22 psi the car starts beaking up and just falls on it's face. It seems to be worse if you just hammer on it and not as bad if you kinda ease it to over 20 psi. Could it be blowing spark out?
c16 is a leaded fuel. If you have 30k miles on your plugs your already pushing them for their application(really rich high boost 4cyl....). Sounds as though they have gotten lead fouled and are not functioning properly.
What is your gap set at?
I'd replace them with some BPR8ES gapped at .022-24.
