tranny...

so i jus completed my clutch swap... put everything back how it goes... added a EBC too and now my car wont start!!! you can hear the starter working but after that NOTHIN HAPPENS ive checked fuses, battery, starter, etc... i adjusted the clutch pedal and everthing but it still wont start! any one have an idea as to why it wouldnt? im completely stumped... one thing im wondering about is that i installed the clutch disc right up against the flywheel... and i read somewhere that it has to be in the center of the flywheel and pressure plate , but nowhere else does it say this. Could this be the main factor

Definitely need better details, such as if the engine is turning over at all.

no the engine isnt turnin over at all... you can hear the starter turning... but the engine doesnt turn over... everything else works except when i try to turn the engine on you can hear the starter but then it jus goes completely blank... it cant be the battery because ive tried to jump start it

If the starter is engaging and isnt turning the engine over, then obviously it isn't engaging the flywheel.

or if your using a fidanza flywheel which is a 3 piece flywheel your teeth may have seperated from the flywheel itself

pull the starter off its only 2 bolts and check inside to make sure the starter is engaging the teeth on he flywheel when you look at the starter the little teeth inside of it come out a lil bit and hook onto the teeth on the flywheel if they dont connect the car doesnt start, also you may have some tool on top of the starter pliers or a bolt or something which would be shorting out the starter making it click but not start the car so check that too

also you should have had a little plastic tool to put thru the flywheel and the clutch and the pressure plate to align all of them properly it should of came with your clutch kit if you dont align them then you might be ****ed as well

i cant really tell if its not grabbin the flywheel or not... the starter jus bolts up into place... i checked and i did use the clutch alignment tool everythings good, but what i did notice is that when i spin the crank pulley with a 1/2 drive ratchet something clicks and the car turns on then off

First you have to find out if its cranking the motor over. You can do that a number of ways.... the most simple way would be to watch the motor and see if it moves when you engage the starter. You can pull the cam cover to see if the timing belt is moving. You can look at the crank via the passenger side wheel well. You can open the oil fill cap and look for cam movement. Or pull the starter and look for starter to flyhwheel wear marks on the flywheel teeth.

If you don't have flywheel contact then you dicked up the install. If you do then you are missing timing, fuel, or spark. Could be something as simple as an unplugged crank position sensor, blown fuse, or dead fuel pump.

Crank the car then inspect the spark plug to see if its wet with fuel. Also test for spark. If the motor is cranking I'm sure its something simple.
