I am installing an AEM Tru Boost EBC. I wanted the new boost solenoid to be somewhere easy to see and maintain if needed so I zip-tied it off up near the driver's side headlight near the IC water tank. I have the hoses to the wastegate and turbo run from there, around close to the back of the headlight, then down under the airbox to their appropriate hook ups. The hoses aren't kinked anywhere, but I was wondering if any of you had noticed any issues with running vacuum hoses a longer length than stock?

not really too much. i have a greddy profec b-spec 2 and my hoses are about maybe 2 inches longer than stock but i havent really noticed any difference in the way it reacts or runs. hope this helps. good luck

 

well, mine are at least 12-14" longer because they are routed up above the airbox from the previous location - but the lines are nice and curved with no kinks

 

well i mean you should be ok. im no ebc expert but i mean i wouldnt think that it would really matter. good luck
