help: grimmspeed EBCS 3 port

Hello EvoM experts!
Since I have perrin stage 2 and 3 tunes, I bought grimmspeed 3 port EBCS.
After I installed the EBCS and changed from stock map to perrin stage 2 map, she holds boost at 24psi and tapers to 22 psi. So, the EBCS and the map DID work!

However, after I turned off evo to change the map from stage 2 to stage 3, when, whenever I started the engine or my boost got to 0 psi, I hear tik tik tik (sounds like relay,,,,) from area near interior fuse box. So I gave up to use the EBCS.
Does my EBCS went wrong ? Or, the map is not quite suitable to my evo?

Also, did you guys remove the restrictor pills on vacuum hoses?
Thank you!!!

the ticking is the EBCS. Comes up often. Mine does the same thing, as do pretty much everyone else's EBCS that I know of.

Thanks for input!
Did you remove the restrictor pills in the vacuum hoses when you installed EBCS?

Never really noticed any ticking. And yes, the restrictor pills should be removed when installing the Grimmspeed.

Not sure about the 0psi bit but the grimmspeed EBCS are quite noisey. Unbolt the unit from your car and get a piece of flat rubber, maybe 2 or 3mm thick. What you need to do is line the EBCS so the car doesn't touch it. No metal on metal contact bar the bolts. That will fix the noise.

Just buy some new hoses and from your local auto parts store and get some fresh updated ones in there.

I will try this tonight!!!

I still remember the boost at 24 psi when the EBCS works at the first time, and now I'm running at 20 psi, and I feel my evo is really slow lol

I tried to put some form tape in order to reduce the noise.
Now, I believe the noise kinda reduced, but still loud b/c my passenger could hear the noise.
Since I was so tired of installing and uninstalling ebcs more than 10 times, I just WOT.
The noise started at 0 psi until releasing the gas pedal.
The boost seems to hold and taper as expected.
But, Im just worried the noise b/c i can hear this even while WOT.

What's experts' opinions about this ?

i insulated the GS 3 port with 2 o-rings (1 between the chassis and the GS, another between GS and the bolt). looks clean compared to zip tie'ing it

and no more clicking
