exhaust coatings??

exhaust coatings??

Hey i am wondering if anyone has recomendations for coating for the exhaust on the car. i had my entire exhaust from my tubular mani, hotside, dp, catback painted with duplicolors hight temp creamic paint.... held up fine on the dp back but burned off of the tube manifold and h/s of the turbo... anyone know of anything that will hold up to the temps of the manifold??? i was concidering gettin the manifold and hotside jet coated, but i've heard that didn't hold up well either????? any recomendations>>>>

Hell yeeah send your whole set up to swain. That will reduce temps a great deal

Reducing temps is actually part of the reason you'd want to use thermal coating. You mainly want to make sure the heat stays trapped in the manifold and turbine housing so the turbo can spool more effectivly.

Correct......insulate the heat in will help promote better internal velocity in the scroll.

Ya i see your point but only thing is i dont really dont like the white exhaust coatings they have.. esp w/ my big tubular mani.. not sexy......
