?????? your comment doesn't really make much sense. The PCV is spring loaded, and it's a metal on metal seat. What do you mean it keeps sliding back? Sliding back which way? On or off the car?

I didnt know it was spring loaded, just thought the stop moved to and fro according to flow direction and blocks with positive flow. But yes, this man's question makes no sense.

A new one to replace it will cost you about $30

makes no sense?

the ROCKER PCV VALVE(HOSE) on the back of the valve cover keeps sliding back. There is NO spring to hold it on, unless the spring is inside the cover. You guys don't know what ur talkin about. I intalled a WeaponR catch can and I guess it built up too much pressure inside the cover. Ergo(If you can understand that) the valve slid out spraying oil all around the dipstick and back of the motor. Hopefully you guys have learned something from this.

Now back to my question, can it be changed?

do you mean the actual metal pcv valve is coming out of the valve cover? Or do you mean the rubber hose that attaches to the metal pcv is sliding off?

It's not polite to tell us we don't know what we're talking about when we're trying to help. With a more detailed description of the problem, you might find there are several people here who are willing to help, and actually do know what they're talking about.

Hey man i got a New PCV Valve bout a month ago and still have my old one. Worked fine. Replaced cause i was throwing a EGR Cell and thought it might have been multiple things. Endded up being a vacumn hose.

Do you mean the elbow coming out of the cover to the PVC CHECK VALVE keeps sliding aft (out) of rocker cover? If so, should of asked that in the first post bro

To correct this I think we don't understand what you were describing, you finally pointed out important facts after making this comment. Go back and read your original question. It has no meaning. But now that you pointed out that there's a catch you installed that has become clogged perhaps someone can help you.

Worst case scenerio, if the PVC fitting keeps sliding out either zip tie it to the oil fill cap or replace your rocker cover. The other side of the PVC fitting is inside rivited chamber within the cover. Just zip tie the sucker - noone would care

sorry and thanks for the help

sorry if I came off a little harsh. Just used to everyone slamming everyone whenever a post is up. Seems like there are a lot of people out there just trying to instigate. sorry for inpolite-ness.

yes, the plastic PCV valve (elbow)keeps sliding back, under normal driving. Does not come out any more during full boost. Maybe I have to get rid of the catch can?

thanks

I'm still confused, maybe I'm just dumb. But as I see it, it goes like this..... magnesium valve cover (painted red), pressure fitted aluminum fitting (bright silver), and then the metal pcv valve (a nice olive drab color). There is no plastic, or rubber, except for the hose that connects the pcv valve to the intake manifold. If the olive drab piece is sliding out, I don't know what the fix is, it's a pressure fit, and mine is tight as h&ll! I can twist it, but barely.
