timimg case

I have a small stress crack on bottom of timing case. Would that cause an oil leak?

It is a REAL pain in da *** to change it, so will I be OK if I just keep checking the
oil?

thanks

if it is the plastic case no it shouldnt cause an oil leak if it has a leak then fix it oil on a timing belt isnt a great idea i can expand the rubber in the belt over time.
