Well I guess that wont work unless the truck will float.

Freight companies will put cars on ships and bring them to the US. The transport company could pick it up at the dock and bring it to the shop.

U2SLO....enjoy....How does it feel compared to the 37r...13hp im sure isnt a bid deal....but 80 ft/lb of torque!!!! Good God!

Its going to be interesting to see what the difference is between the 37r and the HTA version....then compared to the 35r HTA.

I wish I could tell you but I gotta go pick it up LOL. This is my fifth turbo upgrade, just amazing that this turbo has destroyed 3 of my previous turbo's just on pump gas alone!!!,while they were on C-16!!!!
Something I have added to the car while it was there Buschur's front support bar and rear mustache bar.I have also had Daniel install Dave's new boost controller and also a Carbon Fiber Driveshaft I got from AMS.
So I'm sure driving it is going to be a really nice difference compared to previous setup also the rotating mass and weight loss overall.

Has to be Dave B getting better at tuning rather than the turbo IMHO.

Cracking result there nonetheless, congrats.

Very interesting looking at those two charts posted on page 2............thanks for bringing that up. I can't honestly answer the difference in the two cars......I belive, Marque's car did have a .63 exhaust housing on it now that I think about it. There for a minute I thought it was a stroker but I checked and it was a 2 liter. I am surprised the spool up is that much different but with the same basic peak numbers, with a little benefit going to the .82 housing.

ccrain, the difference in the 37r and the HTA35r is not the tuning, this car wasn't tuned that long ago by me and I did nothing different than I did last time.

Since I was asked by someone else about the difference in power from the 37r to the HTA35r. NO, I do NOT think the difference in power is from a change in my tuning or more knowledge that I have gained. The difference is the turbo. This car was just tuned a few months ago here and I am not doing anything different in how I tune than I was then.

Jarrod is right, we have a couple shipping companies we use and get cars brought here on a weekly basis from other states. It's not hard and it's not really that expensive. Many guys have the cars shipped here and then just come and get them and drive them back when they are done. For example, shipping to the west coast is about $900 one way. When you consider our labor rates (being one of the lowest in the industry) it's pretty easy to justify shipping a car here. I've never had a car come in scratched or damaged (other than a front lip) from a transporter. They are pretty careful.
