reply to scorke:

if you were going to make a cubic inch argument, you should have bought something other than an EVO. you think your 2.3 is badass? my DOHC smallblock is down on cubic inches by real performance standards.

the car makes 350whp at 6000rpm, which is AT LEAST a 100whp increase over stock. And it carries that powerband for 3000 rpm, which is the important factor. Not where the power comes on, but how long it is sustained. I bet the car will haul ***. If he shifts it at 8500-9000, after first gear the car will never see less than 500whp.

I like the choice on the pistons - static compression always makes for awesome results.

I know on my 67 trim on E85 at about 28 psi we made 571whp with low timing. You should be around 600whp but getting close to running out of injector near 700whp

I know the Supra guys are running this turbo making 900whp This is about as big as they get before you have to start getting rid of the a/c and going to the half radiator. Its the 74gtsh precision right? Garret 42r wheels with a shaved down exhaust wheel?

Nice numbers for 100 oct!

I bought it 2nd hand from an Evom member a while back, I think it was built by Mazzworx Racing out of Florida (not completely sure) it was mocked up for a GT40R to utilize the a/c and p/s.

It's rated at 1050hp from Precision, 50hp less than the 74mm GT42 version. I believe the compressor wheels are identical 74mm in./102mm ex., but the turbine wheels are definately not the same. Have been trying to find a divided turbine housing to fit the wheel as the manifold is a twin scroll design, yet havn't been able to find one. Tried fitting a GT42r on it but the compressor cover ran into the #4 runner.

Holy $hit I didn't even notice the title and the fact I was completely dyslexic in posting 572 instead of 527.
