recomendation for exhaust?

Hey guys, I just am gettin a 2006 evo mr and wanted advice for the best exhaust out there. I've been looking alot at the megan racing turbo back, but have heard about some quality problems. I heard turbo back's are better for performance and sound, but im not completely set. Ive also looked at hks' catback, and the greddy evo2. any other suggestions would help. thanks

You won't be able to beat the quality and sound of the JUN B.L catback. Superb craftsmanship, 10 year warranty, v-bands....

It depends on what you want? Do you like the coffee can look? Or something that doesn't stand out as much? Loud or quiet? Your question is too vague...

just dont' run an exhaust. That's what all the real racers do....

Seriously though, there are so many threads out there about TBE. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

Like the gentlemen from PPI said, Jun BL is a great exhaust. Sounds awesome, a bit on the loud side. My take on performance exhausts is that they are loud to louder. There's no such thing as a quiet performance exhaust. I have the Jic 505 sus non-resonated. I was gonna go with the Jun but decided to go with Jic. I could not be happier. Loud, yes but deeeep. Not raspy at all. Give Phil at 201 Motorsports a call. He's a great guy and he'll give u the best deal.

I would recommend ETS. They have absolute awesome customer service, and great products

I'm sure everyone is going to chime in saying this one or that one, its just all depends on how much you are willing to spend, and what kind of a sound you are looking for!

Well, if you want advice, don't get the MR. Get one with the 5 speed tranny, that'll save you (metally and financially) down the road. And with the money saving from not getting a MR, you can get a baller exhaust like Greddy Ti or Magnaflow Ti. ; )

The only problem is if he's getting one brand new, then there is only about 5 EVOs available thoughout the country. Most if not all of these are MRs. MR tranny is really not that weak if you match it with the correct clutch setup.

As for the exhaust then its really dependent on your prefrence for sound, 3" TBE is pretty much a 3" TBE, with minimal bends.
