I blow fireballs at rev limiter, if I let it rev that far or letting of the gas after being WOT for extended period of time. Having a Test pipe is usually what will cause this. Mostly any turbo car with a test pipe will do it, even N/A cars at times.

I was behind my friend with an N/A Integra GSR. He shot a little silent fireball once. He has a test pipe of course. Generally if you have a Cat this won't happen, because you cat is there to filter/burn up the gases before they exit into the atmosphere.

2006 IX, it does have a reflash, just curious if that could have removed the limiter?

I have tried to find it while playing/practicing. RPM's keep rising??

The 2-step was set higher then 5K, rev. it up to 6K and you'll find it.

If you timing is retarded enough in the cells that the stationary rev limiter operates in, then the spark will fire while the exhaust valves are open and cause fireballs. Occaisonally I'll get a fireball but mostly it's at lift off and not related to ignition retard, just fuel.

I am purchasing all that you mentioned. But I do not have enough know-how to do this myself. Although I will have a tuner do it, I'm reading and learning to make sure I understand his/her methods, so I am comfortable with the tune.

I think your 2step is probably raised and wasn't told so. Try reving up higher to find out where it's set at...and let us know if you backfire!!!

If you wanted to shoot fire *****, you could get the Bees rev limit. But I dont know why you would want to shoot flames unless you just wanted to set stuff on fire.

I pop and backfire on the decel, its kinda annoying.
