meth or aem ems?
aem tuning is very pricey around here, i dont know around where you are.
i dont know alot of people around here running an ems in their car but one guy. he had a 37r pushing like 670 whp. he got tired of the aem saying it was touchy. he switched back to a 3076r and stock ecu pushing 490 whp, saying its alot more streetable.
with that said i cant imagine that aem ems is good for street use
my suggestion i think i would go with a nice meth kit, and make 500whp and let that gt35r really shine.

From speaking with other EVO drivers in my area, I was told to get rid of my aem ems since I am not planning on going beyond 500awhp. A source that I go to for upgrading info uses meth/alky daily on the stock ecu. All you would need is get a good tune from your local tuner or shop tuner. I sold my aem ems to my local tuner in the rocky mountain region, since he's making his EVO into a beast on 4 wheels. Go with the meth kit.

Get the EMS first and then pay 375 for a AEM meth kit and it will only compliment a great computer. I have both. my tuner made so I can shut my meth on and off like NOS, its nice not be driving around all day wasting the stuff, only turn it on when you need it.
<---- running buschur 35r with HFS-5 meth kit, 100% meth at 29psi (currently, going to running more tomorrow). stock block, stock head studs, stock ecu. daily driven.
if someone thinks running an AEM is more streetable then the stock ecu then they definately need some work with the stock ecu. AEM will always be slower to start because it must sync before it can start. stock ecu is much faster at this and can start with one crank. AEM cannot pass emissions, stock ecu can.
AEM is great for a heavily modified evo built to the hilt. but 90% of the users who have it don't even use a fraction of the features it has which usually means they wasted 1400 dollars.
oh, and i can turn my meth on and off with a button too, still stock ecu.
