Mitsu tech Motor assy guide?

so im thinking of rebuilding my motor myself, and i was wondering if there is a pdf file or something that i can download to help me with all the steps and torqueing whats nots. my buddy just blew up his SVT focus, and is in the middle of rebuilding it, and he downloaded a whole step by step tech manual from ford. i was just wondering if we have anything like that.

also things i need to know are like the little things like

what kind of lube ect.

You will want the workshop manual.

If you are a member of the Lancer Register they are available for free. Not sure how to get them otherwise. They are pretty thorough. But understanding how to measure clearances properly, gap rings, check end play, degree cams, etc... there is a lot to it. That said, most people don't measure or check half the things they should I think.

I believe membership is 30 pound sterling. Well worth it IMHO the magazines are sweet plus some other perks like access to MLR modified, which allows you to plot any dyno graph against another.

Once you're a member, it's under Articles, Evo 4-8.

I suspect someone will be able to just email you the manuals today though for free if that is all you are after. Good luck!

It's a magazine called Wastegate Chatter that the car club puts out. It's very professional and all about Evo's. I think it comes out like 4 times a year. There should be plenty of info on the MLR about what you get for membership.

I'll have to look in my shop manual tonight but I don't believe it covers engine rebuild.

You might check out the section entitled "Engine Overhaul".

Is there a manual available for non-evo Lancers. Checked Haynes website a while back and nothing listed. Thanks.
