Some more information like rpm and what gear would really help....
A datalog would be nice as well.

If I had to guess its proly your turbo, or the wastegate if its plummed back into your o2 housing

Also the mild steel flange on the header may have rusted through, causing an exhaust leak

Hey Jeff, why don't you start 2008 by trying to mature a bit. You seriously act like a child online. Do the community a favor and add something factual, rather than taking a cheap shot at ETS.

Could it be due to driving style of trying to slowly build boost in a high gear at low rpm? I used to get the same thing on the stock turbo and was told by several people it was from having a stiff bov and driving style. Just my .02

what I posted is useful, think about it? I said it was proly the turbo. I have been there and I know its the housing. I have a 25+lbs spring in my DV and only run 22psi in my pump tune and I have ZERO surge.

Go a head and rock out all your stupid posts and I will just read

The others were just a possiblity lol. I see we have no New Years love here

Happy New Years guys!!!

Well it could be that you are using to small of a turbine housing. A larger turbine housing would let the turbine spool up a bit later that way all of the air that the turbo is putting out can go through the motor and not be surged back through the turbo. Where are you spooling to 20 PSI and what is the turbine A/R?

def a leak you shouldnt hit fool spool from a roll until around 3500-4k

ETS sends that turbo out with the .63 a/r so its a good size like I said he shouldnt be spooling that soon even with the BB

This is the Spec's on the ETS 57 trim and his should be like this. Unless he said different.

Part Number: SC3431R
Max Rated HP: 545
Inlet/Outlet Size: 3"/2"
Bearing System: Ball Bearing
A/R Ratio: .48, .63 or .82
Garrett Compressor Wheel Trim: 57
Garrett Turbine Wheel Trim: 76

Garrett Compressor Wheel Specs:
Wheel Trim: 57
Wheel Inducer: 2.230" (56mm)
Wheel Exducer: 2.950" (75mm)

Garrett Turbine Wheel Specs:
Wheel Trim: 76
Wheel Style: T31
Wheel Inducer: 2.559" (65mm)
Wheel Exducer: 2.228" (57mm)
