just a quick question you said the ssqv is bad for a maf car why is that i'm asking cause i have it on my 8

 

the profec and tt were on the car when i bought it so i dont claim that garbage. anyways im tearing the motor out since the car is down anyways and gonna do some building. what are some good cam gears since the aem are crap.

 

didnt expect such criticism coming from david on the parts. i understand you do things alot different but god man dont just sit there and try to make me feel like an idiot. was thinking about buying block parts and a green from buschur but not too sure now

I was not trying to make you look or feel like an idiot. YOU ASKED ME. I stated the facts. I don't beat around the bush, I tell it like it is. Some like it, some don't. I didn't set out to make you look or feel like an idiot as you say.

Over the last year or so I've kept my mouth shut more and more. If you call here and have a bunch of crap on your car I just let it be, answer the questions and suggest what's next. Anything more than that people get their panties in a bunch and accuse me of being a dick.

As I've said many times in the past, "Keep your screwed up combinations, it makes it easier for guys who follow what we suggest to shine and beat you."

Unreal, I am asked to come here and tell what's wrong with the car, I do that. I was right. Then I am asked why the combo is jacked. I do that. Now I am being threatened that since I was honest and did what was asked that no parts are going to be bough from me.............

Yeah you do kinda have a pretty bunk combo going on. Not to say i had any better in the past.

 

i asked for an opinion not CRITICISM DAVID. thanks for your input by all means but i wasnt expecting you to be so harsh and down all the stuff i do have. i mean you couldve said like hey those aem gears arent the best you should upgrade. instead you basically said yeah they suck a$$ and it was a waste of your time and money. thanks for your input though man it is appreciated.

well ive ditched the ssqv for now and put my turbosmart dual port back on for the time being even though i cant drive the car. the wires i was already plannin on selling when i got ready to build the motor cuz i was gonna switch over to maybe a cop or just get a grounding system. i appreciate everything david commented on more than ppl know. i know more now about whats good/bad for the car.

 

Profec B is a joke chunk it or sell it to a honda owner, gears can go id honestly just run stock then those. pulley is not good for you car either. basically everything David said he was 100% dead on the money.

 

of course he is. he builds some of the baddest damn cars out there. i love seeing all the cars he builds and the times and records he achieves. i personally like his stuff better than ams. no offense to ams at all. theyre just a little to overpriced to me on their turbo kits and stuff. the profec is long gone once i finish the block build. i appreciate all your input as well there kaonashi. david i apologize for gettin so furious over nothing as well. i just wasnt expecting that.
