What he said! Check my signature, I have significantly less modifications (Stock Cat / Stock Mid-Pipe) done to my car and I am making the same power. Check out Full-Race.com if your looking to stay away from Meth/Alky.

I think I need to state the obvious, because after reading four pages of "meth addicts" post. Simply stated, these are cars and they are expensive. If you want more power, determine what your actuall goals are... i.e. a dyno queen, an SCCA car, a drag car... etc. Then add the appropriate mods to obtain that goal! It has been suggested, to upgrade your 02 housing and get things ported as well as meth kits. It just depends on what you want! however, you get what you pay for... so if you want to drive a stock car with meth so you can beat cars that have a full-race turbo kit and all the goodies, just don't be disappointed one day when your car no longer runs! (I know someone will come in and post up about how the meth kits today are safe and blah blah blah.... just remember from all the days of kids putting NOS on there honda's... it will never be cheap to make a car fast and reliable!)

That's why your car is making about 30whp less than his...


He says in the first post he put down 330whp on a Mustang Dyno, not Turbotrix's dynojet...

Best bang for the buck for the OP is to buy a used FP Green on these forums, and install a Megan Racing or ebay O2 housing during the install. Should be good for +40whp on pump gas after re-tune. Then go sell your IX turbo.

What is your goal? One of the things to get if you want to max out your stock turbo is to port your exhaust manifold. A Megan o2 would do with the setup also, but the labor is not too friendly.

That is not the best bang for the buck. An FP green on low boost doesn't make too much power over a stock IX turbo. That is a waste of money. He needs to get an 02 housing and a ported manifold. Then me personally I suggest meth. If you maintain your car and have a reliable tune then you will be fine. Meth has mixed reviews but it has worked wonders for me. You still haven't answered our question on the types of goals you have. Any certain hp level you want to hit? Any 1/4 mile time?

bro, it sounds like you're be a little short-sighted here... I hate to break it to you, but just because your limited experience with meth injection has been good, doesn't mean everyone on here wants to mess with it.

secondly, the FP Green makes a reliable 30-35whp over the stocker on pump gas, and like 50+whp more on meth. Just because your tuner is running an aggressive tune on your stock turbo, doesn't mean you wouldn't make that much more if he tuned your Green. As for the price to power ratio, once you've done the basic bolt-ons, expect to start paying more for every additional horsepower...

Best bang for the buck would be to buy a tactrix cable and get a 2nd map with 110 octane so that turbo spools like a BANDIT! Its alot better then having meth plumbed through the car and the IX turbo loves race gas!
