does it feel fast? Of course it does, Buschur built it. does it keep pulling on top end? Yes it pulls up top how high are you revving? I'm shifting at 8k rpms.

thanks in advance and sorry to throw all those questions at you..

My best advice would be to talk to Buschur Racing. Give them a call or send them an email.

Here is my opinion... I have a stock 2.0 with a 35r. The top end is amazing, but I hate the lag. It is really no fun to drive around town. The only time it's enjoyable is when I'm racing someone or getting on it when I'm high in a gear. Below 5,000 rpm there is absolutely no power. It actually bothered me quite a bit for a while. I figured this is the trade off for having a fast car. This was all until I went for a ride in a buddy's Evo w/ an even bigger turbo. He has a 2.3 stroker and PT67/37R. He has so much more low end it's rediculous (even with the bigger turbo). He let me drive his car and it actually felt very similiar to the stock turbo's low end. When I hit full boost, holy ..... I thought my car was fast. I put down 456 whp on Buschur's dyno. So, my car is no slouch. He and I raced and let's just say I'm now stroking the motor and getting the 37R turbo. The race wasn't even close. He has raced some very fast cars and has not been beat yet. High hp Supras, buillt Cobras etc. My point is that his car is VERY fast w/ the 2.3 and his car is known around here for massive top end on highway pulls. My vote is for the 2.3. Alot more fun to drive around without the long wait for boost. Also, you may look at getting the 37R. It is a big difference over the 35R. I know.

Good luck with your build.
I just wanted to throw another option at you but I think you have made up your mind. You said that money was not an option. AMS makes a 2.3L they call the 2.3RR. I have no personal experience with the product but it sounds good. You get the torque of the built 2.3L with the ability to rev almost as high as the built 2.0L. But it is extremely $$$$$$$$.
But Buschur builds a great motor from what I have heard and what I have seen on the forum. You will not be sorry for going this route. Have fun with the car!

thanks for your participation bro

i have thought about this route. However i decided to go with buschurs engines for several reasons
1- I could not justify spending twice the price of an engine for just several hundred rpm
2- buschurs work has already been proven.
3- the extra cash is going towards a new gear box…most probably the ShepTrans “Ultimate ratio” box..still need to research on that.

Thanks anyways

i am a projects engineer (civil engineer) for a multinational company.
instead of saving up money i decided i am going to dump alot of cash into the evo..i wanna experience what a 600bhp evo feels like...also figured i would do this before i get married next year..coz i know once married i will not be able to justify dumping this big chunk of change into a vehicle...another reason is that i also bought another daily driver pimp-mobile.i will post pics of that tonight in the other-cars section.check in 12 hours.
however..i broke a promise to myself that i will never sell this evo..i love it and i have worked really hard on it..if i am not mistaken..i am the fastest stock turbo evo in my city(dubai)..because very few evos run stock turbos around here..hahahahahahaha

thanks for all the help guys..EVOM FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
i am ordering tommorow.

When do you make 30 psi in 4th gear?
