Okay, I gotta a question.... where would I find a 4g63t from a newer evo like a evo 8 or 9. ebay only has one. and all the jdm sites have either old evo motors or eclipse motors. Thanks guys

One more question, How much of a difference is there between a evo 5 motor and a evo 8 motor?

well. last year they had brand new crate engines that mitsu was selling, don't know if you can still get your hands on it. i would try for sale forums and look for crashed evo that is parting out.

and ebay had one engine and it was a damaged evo 8 motor. so no crate motors.

 

the crate engine was on evoM, maybe you can try to search it on here. you can also try one of those web sites that sells engines.

the evo3 would actually spank an evo8 believe it or not. i drove one in costa rica when i was on vacation and wow those things are amazing. stock vs. stock the evo3 would walk the 8. idk where any engines are right off hand but if you take some time searching you can find one.

 

i would love that ams engine but the one i looked at would runu me about 12 grand so that would not be helpful. and thanks for the help.

yeah heard from a buddy that the older evos would beat new evos easy.
