Just like the title states does anyone make a couple set of solid engine mounts? I know ams has the one for the lower engine mount, but how about the side or under the battery tray?

Yeah i saw that it looks like the ams one. Is the one for the passanger side and under the battery tray? I want some the is made of solid metal. If there is none what urathene bushing has the highest durometer rating?

 

just go to a fab shop. solid mounts are not hard to make. just going to shake your entire car and be very very annoying

 

Try the power flex motor mounts...they are urethane and do the job well...Not wimpy and not soft but done rt so you dont get any more needed vibration in the car... Solid mounts aint the way to go and wont get you anything more then the urethane except the vibration.. I have the powerflex mounts and they work great...I have run urethane mounts in other cars and they function as they should.

 

who makes a mount on the driver's side besides avid

i have powerflex front lower mount, ams side mounts, and buschur rear mount. If i could do it all again i would have not done the rear mount. That is the one that made my car shake like no other. I hate to have people riding in my car with me. They think something is wrong with my car

 

My friends car came with all SOLID inserts in the mounts... not a stiffer poly bush but solid.

It shook a lot and was very annoying. I'd deffo not recommend for a daily driver.

He has since changed to ralli-art bushesI think.

 

You can also get them from Road Race Engineering, I think they might be cheaper.
