i might sound dumb saying this but i have heard two different things. does the evo 8 (2005) have a 10.5 hot side. isnt it bigger then the 03-04 evos?

Its hard to clearify on this site, there are alot of bs info flying around.

 

03-04 has 9.8
05 has 10.5
obviously the IX has a bigger turbo and the 10.5
and yes it is very hard to find info on this site despite the huge amout of it out there

yeah thats what i thought... then you read somthing saying that the evo 8 is just the 9.8.. and then thinking to yourself your like... hmm i thought it was the 10.5...

but just to clear that up. im glad i do have the 10.5

then you see people that have 05 evo 8's who say they bought aftermarket 0.5 hotsides... it just confuses you more if you dont really know lol

 

yea i know a couple guys with the 05's who have bought 10.5 hotsides. why i dont know. your guess is as good as mine. im also glad to have the 10.5 h/s. speaking of hotsides, does anyone know where to get a h/s ported??
