worst evo ever

ok guys i need some help. im dying of frustration and im sick of spending money. a while back my transmission was grinding in a couple gears and was just crap. so i got shep to rebuild it and everything was good. 6 months ago my transfer case started whining. great right so into the shop that went to get rebuilt. so a year later and about 6 grand gone i got my car back a week ago. i have the exedy twin disc not the heavy duty just regular. got on the highway today in 4th and the rpm's jumped up like my clutch was slipping. here is my question. can i buy a certain part in the clutch thats slipping or something i can do to the clutch or do i have to replace the clutch because i dont have any money after all of those other things broke and a clutch isnt cheap either. someone please help me

You can purchase a rebuild kit for the exedy twin. It just replaces the disks I think. You don't really save a whole lot of money doing it that way though. Plus you have to pay another 5-600 to install it.

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes. I'm having grinding issues myself and waiting till Spring to take it in to Shep.

Shep may work with you on something if they were the ones that did all of the work. I know they built it, but did they install it?

Who did all the work on the car, like the rebuilds. Also, a transmission rebuild and T-case rebuild should not cost 6 grand..

Ah the dreaded labor. Well, rest assure that Shep does the best work so you shouldnt have to ever worry about the TC and TRANS again. I dont know about the clutch discs though!

the rebuild kits for the exedy twins are on massive backorder. A few dealers may have them in stock but if not, they are months away
