EVO VIII Boost Problems

I recently replaced my manifold and 02 housing. a few weeks later I noticed an exhaust leak at the 02 housing, so I ripped it all back apart and replaced the gasket. Now my Evo shows about 2 pounds of boost and it feels like the turbo is falling on its face at higher throttle. Any Ideas? thanks for your time!

I haven't yet tuned it , I did a boost leak test and there are no leaks. Still max boost of 2 psi I have no Idea what it could be...

make sure the waste gate actuator rod is still connected to the flapper. maybe you accidentally knock it loose when you install the o2 housing.

you may have to take everything apart, re-check and check, then put it all back together. take your time and then test again. It may be a pain but that's what I would do.

Check to see if you have any shaft play on the turbo it self.
Make sure it spins freely also

how does it feel on the road? sometimes it helps to check the simplest things first, I know it probably sounds stupid but have you checked the guage?

ok so I finally found time to dig back into it, the turbo has very little shaft play, spins freely, the wastegate is fine and functions properly, the boost selenoid I got rid of and installed a Profec B II, Exhaust gaskets appear to be fine. Turbine fins are fine aswell. Put it all back together still have same problem 2 psi and it continues to fall on its face. I have no idea what could be wrong with it.
