tdc mark anyone??
So if your timing is off, will it always throw a code?
I just installed cams this weekend and everything is lined up... cam gear/valve cover and the "T" on the crank pulley. When I check everything before the install, the crank pulley was slightly behind the "T" and after the install it ended up right on the "T". Normal? I had a CEL when I first started the car but when I checked it nothing came up so I reset the battery and nothing came back... and I've driven about 75 miles or so now.
Just wondering if I should double check everything like mentioned here or not.

Hopefully one of the real engine gurus will see this and help. One of the codes references the cam position sensor? Did you install that correctly. It's been awhile since I have done Evo cams, but I believe it can be installed 180* out and the car will still run (poorly). I have never had probs. with codes related to cam or crank sensors, you really should try to catch the attention of those with a lot of Evo engine experience . Although if the codes are misfires and over advanced timing, maybe ign. system needs to be troubleshot. IDK. Free bump.
