i have searched.

had a p0301 code, followed by p0300. i understand they are both random misfire codes. i cleared the 301, and was driving around with the 300 code until it went away. the code has not come back in about 100+ miles. went for my 30k service today and had them check my plugs ect while they were in there. i run one step colder plugs with ym setup which i will list below. they said that there was some carbon deposits on the plugs, but that they looked fine. properly gapped ect. any thoughts as to why i may have this code, or what could be the issue? car runs, idles like normal. am i paranoid?

apexi induction box/ hks intake pipe
gsc 272 cams and headstuds

one step colder plugs gapped at .27 i believe.

if you did search you would have found a WHOLE thread on this subject. i dont know about the 301 code, but there is nothing really to worry about with the .
0300 code.... the people who usually get that are the ones with aftermarket clutch/flywheels.

 

thanks, read through a ton of threads of bs and some actual good info. just more interested in people's ideas as to the carbon build up on my plugs.
