Would this be the result of me turning the mbc af far as it would go counterclockwise to the lowest boost setting? I have it ther until I can go to my tuner Friday. The directions from Hallman say that for this setting the car will boost at its stock setting and then only increase. Has anyone experienced lower than stock boost when turning the Hallman mbc to the lowest boost setting?

there are two pills in the stock lines, so dont use the stock lines.

theres a pill at the turbo, and at the solenoid.

Crank that sucker up clockwise and you will see more than 13 psi.Set it to 19 psi till you get tune.

it has your stiff spring in it already! The how you have it turned all the way off, the 12 pounds is just running wastegate pressure! Stock boost is 20 psi and you can take it to 22 safely with as rich s the stock AFRs are. So you should be ok to turn it up to at least 17-18 psi. As of now you are only running at wastegate!

does the bc have to be mounted vertically...I mounted mine horizontal? Other than that I cant think of anything. I have checked and rechecked the setup 4 times tonight. It is exactly as the diagram shows posted earlier and I used new proper lines. What is going on?

O great, so it sounds like I had it hooked up right all along, I just need to turn the boost up some? If this is the case the Hallman directions are misleading.

So on all of you guys setups out there if you turn the boost all the way down it will read 12 psi as well? I was going nuts trying to figure out what I hooked up wrong.

well, if your BC didn't come with another spring, then just turn it up. don't go crazy on it, just turn half circle at a time.

The spring is the stiff one that you want! 10 psi is the evo 8 wasegate, 13 psi is the IX wastegate. I just swapped turbos is how I know this. It most likely is set-up correctly, I tore mine apart 5 times due to jackasses on here saying that one turn and ull blow your car up and Hallmans directions. It takes quite a bit of turning to get it to start moving. Start with 5 turns at a time untill you get close to 19 psi, and then just slowly change it untill you get the 19 psi. But it will take a while and it is just keep trying to get it right!

You are running on wastegate pressure, which is exactly the boost you are seeing, not stock boost.
