proper spark plug for mods??

ive been reading alot about the spark plug thing..im a little confused because everyone seems to be throwing out a lot of different opinions and spark plug companys...i currently have a tune at 23 psi with tbe with o2,drop in filter and walbro 255...so my tuner told me to check the plugs and check over the car before i go get a race fuel tune..im not going to run race fuel all the time..im just getting the tune for it so that when i do run it i wnt my car to be safe...what plugs would you reccomend? i currently have 12k on the clock..so any info would help..thanks

I would also like to know what plugs to use, or how to find that information out myself. When do you need to go "hotter" or "colder" ect... What mods can the stockers support, and what should they gap to?

the ngk coppers come pre-gaped, not sure on temp but the plugs were white when I checked them and that means its too hot. Brown is good.

For 23psi you can stick with OEM spec plugs. If you're going to up the boost and run race gas, you should get plugs that are one step colder.
The only downside of using colder plugs - they will foul sooner, but it's not a big deal, so if you got plans to run higher boost, might as well just get the colder ones now.

I just put some Br7es NGK coppers in my car, they made a HUGE difference in the smoothness of the power. FWIW I didn't want to go a step colder quite yet, but if I start having issues with them going too hot I can always step it back down....after all it only costs like 8 dollars.

NGK ILFR7H (oem) or Denso IKH22

You don't need to go colder but if you feel you must...get the Denso IKH24.

All can be purchased through sparkplugs.com for a good price.

I feel like I say this everyday. Theres no need for plugs on a with moderate mods to the car. I have every bolt on and cams. Run 25 psi on pump daily and I run race gas fairly often at 29-30 psi. No break ups misfire etc...
