Damn I am having the same **** on my car. Just this morning, I got a P0420 when I went to AutoZone.

All I have is an AEM intake, Greddy Type-S BOV and a TT.

Well I just finished putting the car back to stock and I have an appointment with the dealership tomorrow at 7:30AM GOD DAMN i need to get a recirculating BOV, VTA BOV is FTL, I have so much spool when I shift, **** VTA BOV!

Anyone have any clue why this code would just randomly show up on a car on my way to work?

Do reset the ECU and the code, I just disconnect the battery terminals? I'm wondering if it will just go away.

no it wont trust me i know from experience. ive been having trouble with mine for a while. disconnected the terminal and that didnt help. after about 50 miles it comes right back on. i have a codereader/eraser and it still comes back on after erasing the code.

Hmm, Ill let it go for a little. I just disconnected the battery terminal and reconnected it. The code disappeared and I drove around my area for about 15 miles or so. Because this is the first day it happened to me... I'll see if it comes back up. I don't want to miss work and **** if it just went away. I JUST rolled 30k miles on the car. The car runs beautiful now with a recirculating BOV.

Well the CEL came back on last night. I want to take the car to Mitsu for this and for my rear passenger side brakes making weird noises.

How finiky will the dealership be if I have a Greddy TT on the car and the Gruppe-S 60mm guage radio replacement but no guages?

I can disconnect the TT and take it in. Man this sucks, I hate **** like this.

Is it just me or is this car finiky to mods? Why would putting an AEM intake and a Greddy Type-S BOV create this? Bah

i dont think that they would hold anything against you for the turbo timer. i mean your actually helping the car if anything.
