VIII w/ IX turbo power?

Like the title says what kind of power has anyone made utilizing a IX turbo on the VIII? Post numbers or graphs with any supporting mods. Trying to figure out what my new setup will put down and how others have liked it. I will be practically all bolt-ons with hks272s.
thanks guys

It varies but you should see anywhere from 15-30whp.

Stock VIII turbo can get you into the 11's man! Not that I've done it though!

A day or two ago I posted a thread about putting an IX turbo on my VIII. Based on my logs, I'm seeing a 7-9% gain in power across the board, this translates to the 15-30whp number that was quoted above. I'll be posting dyno numbers in a few weeks, but my setup has changed radically in the meantime.

Before:
Buschur 3" TBE w/ hiflo cat
BR Intake kit
BR Deluxe FMIC kit w/ UICP
HKS 280 cams
Hallman MBC
SMC Alky kit@24.5psi peak

The car made 305whp on dyno dynamics:

Since then, I've installed:
BR Testpipe and then hacked a 2nd BR Bullet muffler into it
BR SS o2 housing
BR Ported/coated exhaust manifold
ported stock 05 10.5 hotside
IX turbo
GM BCS & some fine tuning with ECUFlash, boost now 26psi steady up to ~6300rpms
Also going to be installing shortly a BR ported intake manifold and 65mm TB.

I've done each of these in steps, and each of them has shown substantial gains. I'm hoping to see a solid 350whp on dyno dynamics, and really hoping to see more like 375. The IX turbo is an AWESOME upgrade for VIII guys, especially 03-04 guys with a 9.8 hotside looking to upgrade. Couple it with a SS 02 housing and ported exhaust manifold, and you should see a solid 35-40whp gain, possibly as much as 50whp and you car is apart ONE time. All for about a $700-800 investment, its really a good deal and REALLY FUN!

thanks alot scheides...exactly what i wanted to know. Hopefully ill see some gains...anything over 15whp and its worth it to me. Yeah ill be getting tuned for alot of new stuff: ets fmic, ets intake, ets ic piping, tubular manifold, hks 272's, and IX turbo with buschur coated 02. Hopefully ill see some better numbers. I'm getting tuned on a different dyno than my previous numbers but I am def going back to the old one to see what type of gains I get.

I have that setup but with GSC 280

With the evo IX turbo and all the bolt ons and hard pipe kit. Dyno with 93 at 350 and 340 tq. With a TTP tune. I also did a race gas tune with no Head studs at the time and did 375 @ about 24-25 of boost. Since then I have place head studs and I'm boosting about 34psi. I have a friend with the same setup and he dyno with head studs 401 and 404 tq. So I'm about the same right now. So good luck you will love it.
