Question Installing and verifying the timing in a MIVEC cam! Hints?

All,

For those with more experience installing cams on a IX!

When installing the MIVEC cam... How can you be sure that it is installed correctlly?

When there is no oil pressure on the cam gear, the cam swivel back and forth with respect of the cam gear. Which makes it hard to see if you zero the cam gear with the cam when installing the timing belt.

What is the right way to verify the installation? Is using a timing light the right way to determine that was installed correctly? (To ensure the mark in the cam gear matches the one in the valve cover)

Any hints or tricks installing the MIVEC cam?
