I'm going to get my car back tomorrow and check to see if my pressure plate bolts are loose(i did not loctite them) Twin disc clutches are notorious for having the bolts back out.
List of possibilities:
*Loose bolts on clutch
*Bad Slave
*Bad Master
*Bent rods
*Bad pressure plate
*Air in fluid
*Improper clutch adjustment

this isnt my car....i also have a act 6 puck with a bunch of track passes and launches.. and i make 500+ horse power with no probs..i have never seen anything like this...do you think i coulda been a faulty disc or is it how it was driven or what??
classic poor break in. And some impressive abuse...which such low mileage on the clutch i would have never thought...but then you realize how people rag on their cars even with something as important as clutch break in period.
i told him to do a 500 mile break in..he said he did it legit.. there was only 1 launch at 900 miles and this prob happened at around 1500 miles

if he rides the clutch while he drives the clutch could constantly be slipping causing excessive wear.
any pictures of the clutch? i'd be interested to see how a clutch plate can weld itself to a steel flywheel....
