clutch prob. please help

does it maen anything if you cant push that rod in without having to open the bleeder valve??

you shouldn't be able to push the rod if the clutch has been bled properly

this guy seems to have the same prob as me..but he didnt update with what the prob was.. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...t=gear+lockout

the vid he has is exactly what mine looks like......i did relize that the tounge on the shift fork were the slave rod pushes is pretty close to the tranny but not hitting it

I'm going to get my car back tomorrow and check to see if my pressure plate bolts are loose(i did not loctite them) Twin disc clutches are notorious for having the bolts back out.

List of possibilities:
*Loose bolts on clutch
*Bad Slave
*Bad Master
*Bent rods
*Bad pressure plate
*Air in fluid
*Improper clutch adjustment

alright i pulled the tranny today and the disc was pretty much welded to the flywheel.... there was only 1500 miles on it..

must be ur driving style, i got a act street disc with a least 100 passes at the track plus 40k miles n still driving arround or just bad luck , good luck with d next one

this isnt my car....i also have a act 6 puck with a bunch of track passes and launches.. and i make 500+ horse power with no probs..i have never seen anything like this...do you think i coulda been a faulty disc or is it how it was driven or what??

classic poor break in. And some impressive abuse...which such low mileage on the clutch i would have never thought...but then you realize how people rag on their cars even with something as important as clutch break in period.

i told him to do a 500 mile break in..he said he did it legit.. there was only 1 launch at 900 miles and this prob happened at around 1500 miles

master just pumps / pulls fluid...this is from a fault clutch or abuse

if he rides the clutch while he drives the clutch could constantly be slipping causing excessive wear.

any pictures of the clutch? i'd be interested to see how a clutch plate can weld itself to a steel flywheel....
