Manual Boost Controllers

Are manual boost controllers a relatively plug and play performance part or do they require a degree of electronic tuning (engine mapping, ecu flashes, etc...)? If they are a plug and play device, is there any noticable effect without other installed performance parts?

The MBC will be replacing your factory boost control solenoid(BCS). You must remove the complete factory boost/vacuum line assembly as well. The MBC will allow you to adjust the boost level. A boost gauge is a must as will be an ECU tune if you raise the boost level above factory spec.

it replaces the factory BCS and allows you to up the boost. You can only up it just a couple psi for it not to require tuning, once you tune it is when you get the most out of it, however i do reccomend having an intake, and a turbo back exhaust to go along with it when your mbc and tune.
