I understand you'd like to use a mbc, but the stock ecu controls boost just fine and is fully adjustable. A tactrix cable is like $130 or something. It's something you should atleast look into. I've had nothing but issues with my mbc so I ditched it. I think its hard to say what one is best anyway, theres really nothing to it but a ball and a spring.

For me being able to adjust the boost slightly up or down without reflashing the ECU is much more flexible for me. I also have one of those Dejon Dual MBC's where I can set two boost controllers and toggle between them via a switch while driving. Right now I've got them offset by 1 psi and it's allowing me to tune for max boost on pump gas much easier than I could otherwise. I can make a pull, hit the switch, then make another pull and compare the runs back to back very easily without pulling over to re-adjust them or flashing the ECU.

For those that don't tinker with boost levels that often then the factory control is fine as well, I guess it all depends on what you are comfortable with.
