manual vs electronic boost controller

can you guys share you opinions and experiences using manual boost controllers vs manual, and i am referring to dependability not ease of use..

I use a Hallman MBC, simple design, easy to hook up, I haven't had any issues. I wouldnt use anything else on my car. Never been a big fan of EBC, I'd rather keep things simple.

I don't think you'll find a definite answer! But if you end up getting an MBC then use a good a brand, cheaper brands are usually less able to hold higher boost levels. HKS EVC is an excellent (yet expensive) EBC. You also could use stock ecu boost control!
