im looking to go from a manual boost controller to a boost controller solenoid. i already have a tune and its set up for 23psi i was wondering if i can use the bcs in place of the manual boost controller and keep the same tune, or does it have to be retuned?

 

If you are planning to replace the stock solenoid with a 3 port and removing the manual boost controller (presumably bleed type) then you will need to re-tune.

You will need to adjust the WGDC and a whole host of other tables, BDEL, Max Wastegate Correction etc. etc.

Watch you are very conservative with WGDC - My stock rom had a minumum of 97.5% but with a tactrix 3-port it dropped to around 60%
