Blitz SBC boost controller with 3 or 4-port solenoid
Has anyone ever run a Blitz boost controller without its original solenoid? I have the SBC i-D controller which has a big 2-port Denso dual solenoid. EFR turbos come with a 3-port single solenoid and convenient packaging, which seems a lot easier than having the clunky SBC solenoid in there.
The SBC's solenoid is 3-wire (1 common ground and 2 power wires for the dual solenoid), the EFR has 2. I would think that using one of the Blitz power wires from the controller and the ground would make the EFR solenoid functional. Similarly, I would look at using a Mac 4-port solenoid as well, it would wire the same.
Can anyone think of anything that would keep this from working?
