Do NOT put an ACT clutch in that car....You will hate yourself! they lock out after 8K rpms and that where the 35r shines. Buy yourself an Exedy twin disk...the HD version.....i have one and LOVE it! great pressure, lots of grab.

Geeeesh ANOTHER one of these threads for the millionth time. Use the freaking SEARCH functionality bro.

Dont do the ACT or you will be pissed.... Get the Exedy twin HD like said above.... If you search around the forum and search both clutches in detail you will see ALOT of problems with the ACT and minimal ones with the Exedy

Lockout? - Here goes the rumor mill again. I won't try to explain the lockout topic again made famous by a few people. You can search for that yourself over numerous past threads. But I will say that one reason it still gets so much attention is that I have talked about it openly on a public forum in great detail.

Here is probably the largest clutch poll that gives a lot of opinions besides mine or the rumor proponents: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=126768

Good luck on your choice!

Never had any lockout problem with my ACT at any rpm.It would shift smooth and precise right up to 7800 rpm,s with ease.Just get it installed the right way,and adjusted right, and its fantastic in every situation from smooth normal take off up to all out racing.

There is no problem shifting at 7800, the problem is 8500-9000 which is where the happy spot for a 35r is. I have a friend that had a custom 30r reving to 8900 and he cut a 1.59 60' (his best ever) shifted at 8900 and it locked him out of 2nd. there goes the best 60', right down the old pooper.

I'd suggest editing your post to the the price out since the whole idea of pming prices is so vendors aren't advertising their below-promise cost.
