10.5 hotside?

I just bought a 10.5 hotside with a 16g already bolted on it and a megan racing o2 housing bolted on it too, now my question is on the hotside there are 4 thread holes for bolts and on the one i got has 1 bolt already in one of the 4 holes, and im confused cause a install guide on this forum showed two bolts in the holes on the hotside so does anyone know if this is important that there's one there and not two? Or what am i looking at here

Is it a stud and not a bolt? You can just use that one installed stud and get 3 bolts for the 3 remaining threaded holes, I think. Get good bolts though. I think that they are grade 8.8(?).

call san rafael mitsu,; a vendor on this forum, and get the right studs / hardware.

the oem turbo hardware is hardened for the high temperature's your engine/turbo will see.

DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE YOUR OLD STUDS FROM YOUR CURRENT TURBO....

if you fck up just 1 stud, it will cost you more to get the stud removed than buying new studs...

yeah, you can find the right sized studs/bolts from kragen, autozone, but they are not the quality.

get antisieze to go on all your threaded hardware when you make the swap.

just call the dealer. you cant go wrong there cuz theyre made for the high temp the engine outputs. i wouldnt recommend autozone or advanced auto for studs b/c they most likely wont hold up as well as the oem studs. good luck with your install man.

You can get the studs from FP, here is the link. I am about to buy a few ones myself for an upcoming project.
