Bearings....

Curious to how well the OEM rod bearings hold up? I rarely hear of people spinning them but I have saw some. As far as my setup, 2.3L 37r. Would OEM bearings be fine? I dont see a whole lot of talk about them.

Seriously? Im really not trind to be rude, but do a little more searching. In the last year I have personally seen 3 spun rod bearins in Evos, 1 had a 35R 2.3l, 1 was a full bolt on factory short block and turbo, and 1 completely factory. If I went farther back, in the last 3-4 years, including the prior 3, I have seen just under a dozen Evos with spun factory bearings. Spun rod bearing failures are out there.

If given the chance I would upgrade them to the high RPM race version. (I purchased a set thru AMS) but if taken care of right and not over rev'ed, too rich of a tune, and not used as a track ***** car, they would be "ok" to use.
