Picked up a pretty bad "squeaking" noise recently. At first, I thought it was suspension related, but I hear the noise even when idling in my garage. It is also apparent when riding down the road at pretty much any speed either with power to the wheels, or with the clutch engaged and/or car coasting in neutral. It's more apparent when on bumpy roads (Kinda why I thought it was the suspension). It is not related to the belt.

What am I left with . . . Motor mounts going? Any other ideas appreciated. The car is stock with 38,000 miles.

In case anyone has a similar issue, this turned out to be a loose heatshield.
